Day 6 ........ Open water swim taster

After all the parents trying to work out how far one of the buoys were from shore, Andy decoded to have a go, closely followed by Caitlin (unknown to Andy!) it took only 8 mins for him to return to base, so mike decided that just before we all left the beach that everyone would swim out and around the buoy and back again! Reluctantly for some, but approx 2/3rds of the swimmers did it! Everyone on the beach wondered what was going on.  Again, we provided plenty of entertainment for the locals  and holidaymakers! John Mckavett was first to finish, mike stayed behind near the buoy to make sure everyone was ok and returned to the shore at the rear.
