After the morning session - 7-9am, and the mandatory pushing mike in the pool!...........
everyone headed back to pack their suitcases for the long journey home. Check out was at 11, but the coach wasn't arriving until 12.30 to collect everyone. Everyone congregated around reception and played cards. The hotel provided packed lunches so everyone had something to eat before they left .... The coach arrived bang on time and as Niamh and I waved goodbye, everyone was looking like they had mixed feelings, sad to be leaving, but happy at the same time, ready for their long journey home.
Everyone seems to have had a fantastic trip this year, although there was a large group of us, everyone has got on fantastically well together, there has been some great training this week, thanks go to mike for sorting the swim and gym sessions, also to all the chaperones for their help this week and most importantly to all our swimmers for being so well behaved and for making the swim camp such a success....
Here's to SWIM CAMP 2016??!!!........... ;)

Day 7 team photo on beach!
By request, we had another group photo on the beach, everyone showing how much they had enjoyed their swim camp!
The sad photo of the sun going down for the final time on swim camp 2014, everyone seems to have had a great time.......
Day 7 ...... The sea swim!
As promised, mike asked everyone go to the beach for the final time, but this time it was to take part in a sea swim race. It provided the opportunity for those who wanted, to have a go at it. Katie joined everyone as it enabled her to practice her swimming and transition, her husband, Sam provided a safety kayak whilst mike, and Andy provided safety positions in the water. Those who took part had a great time, john Mckavett being the first out of the water on both the first and second lap!
Day 7 - afternoon session
A few pics of the afternoon session....... The poolside looked like a laundry when they all took their tshirts off!
